Becky Dyer - Director Physiotherapist/Pilates Instructor

Becky Dyer is a physiotherapist and mother of two. Becky specialises in Visceral Manipulation to address musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction that has not responded to traditional physiotherapy manual techniques. Becky treats men, women and children of all ages. She also specialises in the treatment of pregnant and postnatal women addressing their symptoms with hands-on physiotherapy treatment and Pilates based exercise. She has worked in hospital and private practice settings treating postpartum women addressing pelvic floor dysfunction in men and women, incontinence, spinal pain, and pelvic instability. Becky has also worked in a busy sports physiotherapy practice treating injured athletes. She is an experienced instructor of women in pregnancy exercise, hydrotherapy, pre and postnatal Pilates.

Inspired by her patients, Becky started her own exercise classes that focussed on pregnancy and post-natal fitness. This grew into a passion to share the Pilates technique with all of her patients and was the inspiration to open the BBPilates Studio. Her classes are a combination of Pilates based exercise, core stability, cardio, pelvic floor exercise and also offer specific classes for pregnant and postpartum women. Becky is a Certified Studio Pilates instructor in Pilates Mat and Reformer instruction.  Becky is also the creator and co-founder of Body Beyond Birth, an online Prenatal and Postnatal Pilates Program endorsed by obstetricians and Ramsay Maternity Hospitals.

Davina Gill -

Studio Manager/

Pilates Instructor

Davina came to Pilates from a dance background. After moving from the country to follow her passion for dance she embarked upon a Bachelor of Arts in Dance at the University of Western Sydney. To improve her dance technique Davina began to do Pilates classes and fell in love with the discipline. She began training as an instructor in 2000 and became an APMA certified instructor, proficient in matwork, reformer, trapeze table, wunda chair and small apparatus.

In 2005 Davina completed a pre and post natal certification course through the Centre for Women’s Fitness. Davina is experienced in Pilates instruction for people with disabilities, orthopaedic injuries and during pregnancy. Davina loves sharing her knowledge about anatomy and movement and her passion is helping people learn to take care of their own bodies through exercise.

Kate Armstrong -

Physiotherapist

Kate has 25 years of physiotherapy experience in treating musculoskeletal injuries, sporting injuries, pelvic instability and pregnant/postnatal women. Kate is passionate about using her manual therapy skills to start her patient’s journey to wellness and works with her patients to give them the exercise and targeted training they need to treat themselves and stay well outside of the physio practice.

She is highly skilled in treating acute neck and back pain as well as chronic conditions in knees, ankles, hips and shoulders. Kate is the mother of two and enjoys treating women during pregnancy and postnatally as she’s been specifically trained in the treatment of the pregnant pelvis. Kate is passionate about supporting patients with pelvic floor related issues and providing personalised treatment programs to give pateints back their quality of life.

Kate has training in Visceral Manipulation to treat musculoskeletal issues that do not respond to traditional physio techniques and enjoys continuing education to expound upon her treatment skills. Kate teaches small group physiotherapy classes which focus on functional exercises that make patients not only feel better but move better.

Kriena Thorp -

Pilates Instructor

Kriena enjoys teaching Yin yoga and Pilates. She has trained as a dancer and is passionate about using movement as therapy to help her patients live pain-free and feel flexible and strong throughout their daily life. During her training as a dancer she felt the first-hand benefits of Pilates in strengthening her core and her body as a whole for dance as well as life. Kriena is the mother of 3 beautiful big kids. She loves helping her patients become well through exercise and she has a knack for helping the challenging patient through Pilates.

Zoe Brown -

Pilates Instructor

Zoe Brown is a university trained dance teacher and a Yoga Practitioner with extensive experience guiding people within their yoga practice. After working as a professional dancer in London for Internationally acclaimed CandoCo Dance Company and using Ashtanga Yoga as a fundamental part of her training. She returned to Australia to train and teach at Tiaki Pilates and Yoga Studio, recently rebranded as Quro Health Studios.

Zoe studied Pilates over 12 years ago before everyone else knew that it was the best thing since sliced bread! She’s an experienced Pilates mat instructor and Pilates Reformer instructor. Zoe is also a certified Booty Barre instructor.

Zoe has been leading participants in a 60min open level Ashtanga based yoga class including a focus on Pranayama (breathing exercises), simple flowing sequences, postural alignment & relaxation. Zoe has instructed Pilates and yoga to a wide variety of people including sports professionals, pregnant women, Mums & bubs and everyone else in between.

Zoe is a certified Pilates mat instructor and certified Pilates Reformer instructor for BBPilates.

Jessie Dyer - Pilates instructor

Jessie is an experienced instructor of ballet and dance as well as a qualified Pilates Mat and Pilates Reformer Instructor. Jessie completed her Pilates Teacher Training certification with Stott Pilates. Jessie trained at Newtown High School of the Performing Arts and has completed a Diploma of Professional Dance.

She fell in love with Pilates throughout her training as a dancer during times of injury but also enjoyed the improvements she made I strength and flexibility with Pilates.

Jessie enjoys educating her students on the biomechanics of movement to heal and strengthen injuries with a Pilates approach.

Ai Yahiro - Pilates instructor

Ai is a certified Stott Pilates instructor in Matwork, Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair and Barrel. 

Originally from the Fukuoka Prefecture located on the northern tip of Kyushu in Japan, Ai was a professional volleyball player for seven years for the Toshiba corporation. Ai has lived in Singapore and Canada before settling with her husband here in Sydney. She loves to share her passion for Pilates with fun, flowing exercises and her favourite exercises are those that balance asymmetries in the body. 

 Ai’s hobbies include exploring New South Wales and sampling Australian beer and oysters!

Nadiia Meshcheriakova - Massage Therapist

Nadiia holds a Diploma in Remedial Massage from Randwick TAFE and is a professioal member of the Australian Natural Therapists Association.

She has always been interested in health and the body's inherent healing abilities, practicing Yoga and Dao Yin. 

Nadiia discovered her passion for massage therapy by combining her interest in holistic health with her desire to naturally assist others. She utilizes her knowledge, intuition, and logical mind to customize each massage session according to the client’s unique needs and preferences, employing various remedial and relaxation techniques.

Outside of her massage practice, Nadiia enjoys bushwalking, intellectual team games, and various crafts.
