Challenge yourself with a workout using body resistance and equipment. This is the original Pilates workout but more fun!

Pilates matwork is challenging yet simple. A matwork class is the perfect environment to learn correct posture, technique and breathing right from the start while you enjoy benefits of a fabulous workout. This class emphasises core strength, flexibility, balance and endurance. This class will use Swiss balls, resistance bands, and Pilates circles.

Assessment Required

This assessment consultation will include: gathering a medical history, postural analysis, education on correct posture and postural awareness during Pilates and daily activities, assessment for possible abdominal separations, a physio tutorial on correct core abdominal activation and instruction/review of basic Pilates exercise technique to prepare you for your first class.
